Peak performance from Paragon at The Triangle gym

Paragon Interiors Group Plc

Members of The Triangle gym in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, are used to witnessing incredible transformations, after all, the celebrity ‘Body Coach’ Joe Wicks uses the venue for his own high intensity training!

So on Saturday 25th February, when The Triangle threw open the doors to their brand new gym after we had spent the last 18 weeks on a transformation of our own, their members were eager to put the new venue through its paces.

The improved and expanded facilities at The Triangle were funded jointly by Places for People Leisure and Mid Sussex District Council and were created to provide existing members and new users with a huge variety of equipment and some innovative new kit, all set within a fantastic new open plan space.

To really open up this space, our work comprised minor structural alterations of the first floor with the removal of an existing helical staircase & slab infills and the removal of non-load bearing walls to form a new gym on the first floor.

Back downstairs on the ground floor, we altered the existing gym, creating a new office and admin area, including partitioning and ceiling works, mechanical & electrical installations to suit the new layouts, floor finishes, joinery and decorations.

Places for People believe that providing new innovative and sophisticated leisure centres is crucial to increasing participation in physical activity. As such, they have invested £7.7million on improving their facilities and equipment in the last year alone.

Tom Carter, General Manager at The Triangle said;

‘This refurbishment is a huge positive development for our members and the local community. The results are fantastic. Offering up to 100 stations, 30 more than that of the previous gym, new equipment and improved gym space, we will be able to give customers lots more opportunities to get active in a motivating environment!
