Paragon raises a glass to Enterprising effort at UK’s largest pub company

Paragon Interiors Group Plc

When Ei Group plc, formerly known as Enterprise Inns plc, wanted to improve energy efficiency and accommodate more staff at their Solihull headquarters, it was clear that a programme of modernisation was required to help them hit their ambitious carbon reduction targets.

We were brought in to provide a complete strip out and Cat B refurbishment and fit-out of the 15 year old, 3 storey building, whilst also providing design input to our client’s team in a consultancy role.

In what is a very busy working environment, we were keen to ensure that any disruption was kept to an absolute minimum, working in strategic phases whilst implementing our best-practice knowledge in move management.

With careful planning and flexible project management, the building remained live throughout the works ensuring as seamless a transition from the old office to the new, modern workplace as possible. Keeping staff in mind at all times, works to the canteen were undertaken from Friday afternoon and over the weekend, ready for re-opening for lunchtime on Monday.

Meanwhile our design team was on hand was to advise on the finishes and colour palette and  then created the curved town hall meeting space in the centre of the office, designed to accommodate sales pitches, new products, brainstorming and presentations.

Paragon began on site on the eve of Valentine’s Day, by working closely as a partner with our client throughout this complex project, the result is modern, energy efficient new workplace that everyone loves, including Mother Nature.
