“I am thrilled to say that after over 18 months’ in the planning, seven months’ preparation and now 15 weeks on site, we are ready to present this incredible building to the media at our press launch on Thursday night.

It has been a difficult project but I want to make you aware of a couple of people that have made a huge contribution. I’m not one to gush but firmly believe that credit is given where credit is due.

I am aware that Gerry Quane does not work for you full time but as your on-site leader and project manager he has been outstanding. I mentioned how difficult this has been with five tenants to please and accommodate. Gerry had done it with incredible patience, efficiency and communication. He has a no-nonsense approach that gained the respect of clients, contractors, service providers and landlord representatives in equal measure.

The other person is Jemma Ward. It was unfortunate that Nick Henry’s hectic schedule meant that he wasn’t able to continue on Trump Street over the last few weeks. However, it did allow Jemma to shine in effectively taking on the role as Paragon’s project manager as well as project designer. No idea we threw at her was too ridiculous and she brought a reality to our notions. Her designs are superb, her ideas creative, her work speedy and efficient. Her working knowledge of the project is huge. She is in my opinion, the single biggest reason this concept has been realised and I have not worked with a better designer.

I have expressed my gratitude to both of them but think it’s important that it’s in writing to yourself and would appreciate you passing it on. As MD I hope you feel some pride and satisfaction in reading the feedback.”
