PURPOSE OF ROLE: 

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, positive and flexible receptionist to be part of the front office team.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you have a key role within Paragon, being the first point of contact for all visitors, customers, suppliers and work colleagues as well as all others who have contact with the business, whether on the telephone or in person to ensure the smooth running of the reception, having a friendly manner, and provide a warm and welcoming environment for all.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ALSO INCLUDE:

  • During the day ensure all meeting and client areas are prepared and ready for use
  • Prepare Tea Point / Kitchenette ready for use
  • Meet and greet clients, customers and other visitors, sign people into the visitor book, carry out basic ‘visitor’ induction training, offer and make drinks as requested, accompany visitors into their designated meeting space

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Major Projects Business Unit, specifically to manage existing Higher Education accounts with an aptitude for developing opportunities through established and new relationships.

Commercial Manager – Fastrack

REPORTING TO:              Project Director

HOURS OF WORK:          Nominal 40 hours per week

LOCATION:                       Principally Leeds office (opening Summer 2018) with ability to commute to Sheffield and Nottingham office once a week.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:        

We are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager is to provide commercial expertise and be responsible for the financial delivery of one or a number of projects to ensure that projects are procured and delivered within budget and to the highest quality whilst exceeding our customers’ expectations.  To manage commercial activities with a high degree of acumen whilst identifying opportunities to add value throughout the project process. In doing so you will price selected trades from first principles using agreed outputs. You will also be able to produce a detailed control document at handover to delivery team and complete projects take offs to the required level of detail.

You will accurately value, certify and issue any relevant payment notices for the subcontract works in accordance with the conditions of their subcontract. Ensure that external valuations are submitted in accordance with conditions of the main contract and that payments are received by the due date, taking full responsibility for the project’s cash position. Complete reports, ensuring they accurately reflect the current position on site and the final profit projection.

You will be working within a small technical team on exciting interiors development projects. Reporting to the architectural design manager you will be working on predominantly technical designs, tender packages and construction drawings.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To take ownership of projects from concept design stage through to completion on site
  • Assess projects on an individual basis and prepare and produce required technical drawings and documents to align with cost plans and strategies whilst providing a high level of protection to the design intent
  • To work collaboratively within a team of construction delivery professionals to maintain progress on tight programs and produce complex environments
